The East China Sea is the crystal capital of the world, with a long and profound crystal cultural heritage. In the 1970s, the "Crystal Gravel Scraper" unearthed from the Daxianzhuang Site in Shanzuokou, Donghai County was the first Paleolithic site discovered by archaeology in Jiangsu Province.

According to the "Jiangnan Tongzhi", crystal was mined in Donghai County more than 600 years ago. During the Kangxi and Qianlong periods, crystal carvings appeared in the folk, and some paid tribute to the court with vessels, Jewelry, and other crystal carvings. The development of crystal carving techniques in the East China Sea has a history of hundreds of years. Through generations of inheritance and promotion, the East China Sea has also become the birthplace of the inheritance of Chinese crystal carving techniques.

In the 1990s, Wu Yingwen, a master of Chinese arts and crafts who had been engaged in crystal carving in the East China Sea for many years and the first person in Chinese crystal carving, fully utilized the role of natural crystal carving in techniques such as round carving, relief carving, transparent carving, line carving, reverse carving, borrowing scenery, borrowing color, borrowing form, yin carving, yang carving, and the combination of virtual and real. Combining inlay embellishments and modern techniques such as matte and glossy, we aim to explore new ideas, techniques, and techniques for polishing natural crystals. This innovation fills a gap in the history of "natural crystal carving" in China and leads the new trend of crystal carving technology. His work "Three Teachings and Nine Flows" was presented as a national gift to Russian President Putin.
